It's a small world after all....

1) If you haven't been on that ride at Disney World, go. But only once. Then you'll realize what's cute is not so much after ten minutes of overdose.

2) There's a new coffee shop in the deep's 'territory'. It's aptly named "the Coffee House". Big, spacious, has couches - all very nice. As we were sitting/debriefing/ (and a little karaoke from Rob), we ran into three other pastors from that same little area! One, I even had connections with from when I worked in the cell phone industry. It'll be neat to see how those church connections grow as we all work out of the same 'office'.

One of my parent's dearest friends found out this week that she has stage 4 (out of 4) cancer. The doctor's aren't looking very hopeful about a cure. It's really tough for the family and their friends. I'm working on a very special project for Kathy - and I'll share it when it's completed. Please keep Kathy and Bill in your prayers.

The holidays were good, if not chaotic. There were five family Christmas functions. I was blessed by the season. My main love language is the giving/receiving of gifts - so this is heaven to me. And soon after Christmas? My birthday! My favorite gift this year was probably my brother Garrett's - he wrapped up yarn in a pillowcase! Once I opened it - he promptly asked for a scarf. Cute. I'm chronicling my knitting on my other blog, so you're not spammed with the glory that is fiber!
